Karen Hunter

Karen Alice Hunter, 58, of Victoria B.C. passed away peacefully Aug 7th in hospital ending her battle with Parkinsons disease. Born to the late John and Marion Hunter and survived by her three children, Sarah, John (Meghan) and David, her brother and sisters Brad, Barb and Kim, Nieces and Nephews Tamara, Damian, Ally, Suzy, Jeremy, Lindsay, Ryan. Predecased by her brother Roger. Graduated with a bachelor of Nursing from the University of Western Ontario in 1978, her passion was helping those who could not help themselves. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her selfless and compassionate nature. A small memorial will be held for family and close friends on Sunday August 11th at the Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt Ward Room (1586 Esquimalt Rd.) from 11am to 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinsons Society of Canada. Condolences to the family may be offered through her son John at jh_mcneill@yahoo.ca.
