Karen Elizabeth Whitworth

Karen E. Whitworth (Oliver), passed away quietly in her sleep on October 5, 2016 after an 11 year battle with cancer. She was 62. She will be remembered by her loving family: Husband Lance Whitworth and cousins Dr. John Westerlund (Micheline Picard) and Lorrie Westerlund (Prof. Martin Dresner), uncles and aunts, relatives and friends. She was a kind and compassionate person who dedicated her life to the welfare of animals. Karen was predeceased by her mother Betty Oliver, father Gordon Oliver, brother Douglas Oliver, uncle Emil & aunt Marge Westerlund and her grandmother Margaret (Peggy) Scott.. We thank the Doctors and Nurses who were so supportive during Karen's long illness. Friends are invited to attend the interment held at "The Woodlands" in Royal Oak Burial Park, Friday October 7 at 1:30pm. Your memorial thoughts can be shared at www.earthsoption.com.
