Kathleen Grace Martyn

Kathi Martyn passed away peacefully on March 30, 2017 after a brave battle with melanoma. She was predeceased by her brother Alan and is survived by sisters Lois Williams (Alf) and Eileen Hanuse (Rainer Todsen), brothers Mike (Ann) and Tom, nieces Adrienne, Kelly, Alisa, Lindsay and Alex and nephews Taylor, Danny, Daniel, Richard and Dylan. Kathi was also a great aunt to ten "littles". Kathi was born in Vancouver and raised in Vanderhoof and Prince Rupert before the family moved to Victoria when she was in her teens and attended Vic High. Kathi lived in Canoe and Port Hardy before returning to Victoria where she worked with BC Mail, the 1994 Commonwealth Games and at the University of Victoria. Kathi met her cancer challenge with the same great spirit she displayed in all aspects of her life and she will be sorely missed by her family and many dear friends. Private service.
