Kathleen Turner

Kathleen Evelyn (nee Grierson) died peacefully on July 17, 2013 in Victoria, BC just 3 weeks after celebrating her 98th birthday. Kay was born on June 22, 1915 in Edmonton, AB. Predeceased by her husband Stan in 1994, Kay is survived by her children: Jim (Sharon) Turner and Bob (Cheryl) Turner both of Vancouver; Doug (Liz) Turner of Victoria; Susan (Rob) Babiarz of Castlegar; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Kay was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be remembered for her incredible spirit. Services will be held at the UVic Multifaith Chapel, 3800 Finnerty Road (click here for detailed map of campus) , on Saturday, August 24th at 12:30 pm. Flowers are gratefully declined; if desired, tributes may be made to a charity of ones choice.
