Kirstin Harkness

Kirstin, born September 10, 1966 passed away suddenly on February 27, 2014 at the age of 47. She is survived her mother Gaynor Thompson (Joel) of Victoria, BC, by her father T Patrick Harkness (Lynne) of Chilliwack BC, by her brother Christian Harkness (Anna Karin) in Laholm, Sweden, and by her step brother Kyle Harkness (Lisa) of Edmonton AB as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She will be truly missed. Kirstin spent most of her childhood with the family at Prospect Lake. Kirstin enjoyed many happy hours riding her pony Tick Tock and enjoying the lake with her friends. She attended Claremont High School. At the age of 15 Kirstin moved to Alberta where she spent most of her life. She returned to Victoria in 2008 and continued her work in the service industry. Kirstin was a loving and caring woman who went out of her way to help others in need when she herself needed the help. Kirstin was helped unselfishly and with loving tenderness by her parents and extended family and friends. A 'Celebration of Life' will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2014 1:30pm to 3:30pm Prospect Lake Community Hall 5358 Sparton Road Victoria BC V9E 2H5
