Lorne passed away peacefully on June 19, 2016 at the age of 80 years. He leaves behind his loving family to honour his memory; his son Clarke Fuller (Sherri) and his daughter Brenda Warkentin (Alfred), brothers Earl (Andrea) and Garry (Janice), grandchildren Erik, Jeff, Jennifer, Karli, Kolton, great-granddaughter Skarlit-Rose and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret Elliott, and father Eric Fuller. Lorne was born and raised in Vancouver and spent his whole life loving and living on the coast. He enjoyed his annual salmon fishing trips to catch âthe big one' in Port Hardy. He was an entrepreneur by nature and had many business ventures over the years which he approached with unbridled passion and enthusiasm. Lorne was caring, compassionate, and he loved animals. His retirement years were spent on Saturna Island enjoying the peace and solitude. He was blessed with many good friends and enjoyed time with them. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by family and all who knew him. Lorne was thankful for the kindness and help he received from the devoted nurses on Saturna and the staff at Kiwanis in Victoria.
There will be no service but if you wish you can make a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of BC.
