It is with great sadness that we announce Lorraine Doyle passed away at her home in Esquimalt with her son, Ken, her daughter, Chantale and her nephew, Brian Williams by her side.

Predeceased by her husband Steve, her parents Yvonne and George Salmark, her sister Sharron, her brother Gordon and her sister-in-law Judith Williams (David).

She leaves to mourn her two children, grandchildren Riley Patricia and Eleanor Grace, sisters, Phyllis Milliken (Bill), Diane Cooper (Hans), and brother-in-law Philip Doyle (Shirley) and numerous nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Lorraine also leaves many good friends who gave her wonderful support during her life as well as many good friends she made through her involvement with the Victoria Quilters' Guild. Lorraine touched many around her with her generous spirit and boundless creative energy.

Lorraine worked for the Municipality of Esquimalt for many years primarily for the Mayors and Councils and very much enjoyed interaction with the public in Esquimalt.

A memorial will be held in June in Esquimalt, in lieu of flowers, please send donations to Victoria Hospice.
