Margaret Muir Macrae

Margaret Muir MacDonald McKay MacRae passed away peacefully January 13, 2021 at Rest Haven Lodge, Sidney, BC. Born in Greenock, Scotland April 18, 1924, she immigrated to Canada in 1957 with her husband and sons- living and working in Edmonton, Alberta until retiring to Central Saanich in 1983. Predeceased by her husband Ian and son Alister, Margaret is lovingly remembered by son John (Jane), grandchildren Andrew (Sheralyn), Catherine (Paul), Laurel (Rohan), Alex (Ashley), by great-grandchildren Caressa, Jackson, Ava, Jett, and Noelle, and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a happy resident of Rest Haven Lodge for the last 9 years where she made many new friends among residents and staff. The family is grateful for the compassionate care and love offered by Rest Haven's staff and management.
