Faye Leboe, born March 16, 1949, in Prince George BC, lived a life marked by family, faith, and intellectual pursuits. Raised in a political family, Faye's early years spanned Crescent Spur, Prince George, and Ottawa. Faye grew up with 4 sisters and 3 brothers. After her father left politics, the family moved to Peachland BC. Her passion for British culture led her to London Bible College, where she acquired her beloved Denby pottery in Derbyshire, England. She loved her pottery and used it daily for the rest of her life. Faye would only drink from her Denby teapot even after the spout became chipped. Her love for tea was well known and working briefly as an accountant for Murchies Tea and Coffee in Victoria BC, was a perfect fit. Faye's love for literature, music, and hockey (especially the Maple Leafs) defined her vibrant personality. Despite facing mobility challenges in her later years, Faye's spirit remained bright at Aberdeen Hospital, where she was beloved by staff and residents. She is remembered for her warm presence, intellectual curiosity, and enduring passion for the things she loved.
