Mary Ashton

Mary died peacefully surrounded by family. She is survived by her daughter Marguerite Chalmers (Allan), sons Rick and Joe Ashton and seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, her sister Virginia Brown, cousin, Jim Gorst, sister in law Doreen Ashton, numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friends, Kris Klausen and Lorna Kenyan. Mary loved and is greatly loved by her family. Mary was an avid gardener and is remembered for her sewing, crocheting, quilting projects and great cooking. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Saanich Peninsula Hospital ECU2, who gave mom wonderful loving care. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity in Mary's name. A tea to celebrate Mary's life will be announced later.
