Mary Barbara Joan Lucas

Born in Cardiff, Wales in 1929, Mary was educated at Howells School, Llandaff, and Salisbury Teacher's Training College.  In 1952, Mary married Peter Lucas whom she had met while at college in Salisbury.  They were married at Llandaff Cathedral.
Mary taught for many years in both England and, after emigrating to Canada in 1965, in Saskatchewan.  She subsequently became a real estate agent working in Regina, Kelowna and Victoria.
Mary passed away peacefully on October 16, 2019 at the age of 90, after a brief illness.  She was predeceased in 2014 by her beloved Peter, husband of 63 years; and is survived by children Michael (Judy) and Janet (Mark) and grandchildren David, Victoria and Christopher.
