Melanie Maureen Nolan

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Melanie (May) Nolan, in her 62nd year, at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria, BC, on July 19, 2026, with her family by her side. 

Dearly loved mother of Sydney Nolan. Cherished sister of Linda May (Frederick) and Diana May of London, ON. Beloved daughter of the late Richard May and the late Beverley (Buckley) May. And dear friend of Jonathan.

Melanie departed this life far too young and will be profoundly missed by all who loved her. She was a beautiful soul who enjoyed a good laugh along with appreciating the quiet moments in life and the joy of raising her daughter, Sydney. Her memory will forever be held close in our hearts.

Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held in honour of Melanie.  

Memorial donations made to the BC SPCA Victoria Community Animal Centre would be welcomed.
