Michael Anthony Douse

Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Michael passed away peacefully at Beacon Hill Villa in Victoria, BC on Thursday, February 21, 2019.
Michael is survived by his wife, Linda Lee, son Mark and wife Gail, daughter Kathy andhusband Chris, and grandchildren Austin, Mia, Emma, Alex, Michael and Max. He was predeceased by his first wife Lucy Quinn, mother of Mark and Kathy, and by his parents, Ada and John, sister Dianne and brother Kenneth. Michael was with Formica Canada for over 30 years, as a sales representative and Western Sales Manager.
He was quick and funny and a great storyteller. He loved to laugh, he loved to sing and he loved good red wine and beer at room temperature. Michael enjoyed boating, cycling, hiking and walking around Stanley Park, no matter the season. He was an avid and graceful skier, gliding down the mountains at Whistler and Blackcomb either in his bright yellow banana suit or his ‘Captain Canada' jacket which he so proudly wore.
The family wishes to thank everyone at Beacon Hill Villa and Sunrise Senior Living for the comfort and care they provided to Michael over the past three and a half years. No service by request.
