Michael Stock

January 2, 1939 - July 4, 2014 Michael passed peacefully July 4, 2014, Victoria, BC. Michael will be fondly remembered as thoughtful, compassionate, always upbeat, leaving those he met daily with a smile. Michael will be always loved and missed by his devoted wife Kristina. Born in Coventry, England, son of late Leonard George & Peggy Stock (nee Allen), and survived by his sister Judith, nephews Stephen and Christopher who live in England. Professionally trained as a printer he more recently made his career as a building manager. In his life he travelled the world extensively. A prolific reader, who enjoyed history, music, and was a fan of motor racing. He lived life to the fullest, with exuberance and enthusiasm. Hard working, high energy, caring, loved to laugh, sharing quick dry humour and always willing to help others. A man of many talents, Michael excelled at cooking, gardening, creating works of art and paintings. He treasured his wonderful pets who reciprocated in kind. For those who knew him, his kindness will be long remembered. Michael lived by the golden rule 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you'.
