Millicent Joan Johnson

Nana died with her family at her side on November 1, 2017. She was born December 23, 1921 to Elsie and Victor Quelch of Morrin, Alberta and never forgot her prairie roots. Her son Brian(Barbara) and husband Grant predeceased her. Victoria became home to Joan and Grant in 1976 where she became a proud founding member of the Cedar Hill Arts Club. Family, sports, nature and playing the slot machines were her greatest joys. Her greatest gift to the family was her sense of humour.
Joan is survived by her daughter Susan and son Terry (Kathy); grandchildren Theresa, Glen, Kimberly (Corey), Anna (Manolo), and Andrew (Vanessa) and her "greats" Luke, Riley, Cooper, Brody, Diego, Helena, Cameron, Jasper, and Holly. Memorial service and reception will be held on Tuesday, November 7 at St Peter's Lakehill (3939 St Peter's Road) at 2:30pm In lieu of flowers please make a donation to an SPCA as requested by Nana
