Myrna Louise Swanson

Myrna, age 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 12, 2021, at her residence in Victoria, BC, after a year long battle with lung cancer.
Myrna Swanson was born in Penticton, British Columbia, and moved to Victoria after completing high school in Renton, Washington. She loved living and raising her family in Victoria and enjoyed visiting the beaches, ocean and gardens. After working in several different businesses, she found her calling in home health care and became a certified home health care aide. Myrna is remembered as a hard worker and a loving and giving person who always saw the good in others even through challenging times. She enjoyed painting, traveling, and spending time with family.
Myrna is survived by her sons Darwin (Jen) and Marl (Keith); grandchildren Keltan, Maddox and Nola, sister Fay; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in honor of Myrna Swanson to the Food Bank at the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul of Vancouver Island.
