Nancy Lee Ashworth

With sadness in our hearts, but a lifetime of fond memories, we announce the passing of our mom, sister, grandmother and aunt. Born in Revelstoke, BC, moving to Victoria shortly afterward where she would spend the rest of her life, she met her husband Bernie while both were working at the CP Telegraph office. They fell in love and were married for 56 years before Bernie’s passing in 2021. Nancy was regularly involved in all her children's school activities. She always made sure that at each family event a picture was taken for posterity and sent cards, never missing an opportunity to celebrate an occasion. Nancy enjoyed working in her garden and diving into a good mystery book. She is predeceased by her husband Bernie, son Richard and brother Bill. She is survived by her daughter Wendy (John); grandchildren, Jane and Finn; siblings Jim (Helga), Mary Lou; sister-in-law, Katherine; nephews, Jeremy, Nathan and Ricky; great nephew and niece, Ethan and Danielle.

Celebration of Nancy’s life will be held July 24, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Royal Oak Burial Park chapel, 4673 Falaise Dr.
