MASSICOTTE, Paige Victoire Passed into the loving arms of Jesus on July 15, 2020, while receiving care for a congenital heart condition. Born in Edmonton, Alberta on November 30, 1954 Paige grew up in Victoria, and later, Toronto, surrounded by the love and closeness of her grandparents, her mother Vicki, father Bernie, older siblings Carol and Michael, step brothers Bill and Fred, and little sister Lise-Ann. Paige will forever be loved, cherished and remembered by her adoring husband Peter, daughters Courtney (Alberto) and Brittany, son Brennan (Genevieve) and granddaughter Eliana.
Paige was known for her love of everything fine and feminine and always left things more beautiful than she found them. Her passion for home decor, travel and creative pursuits inspired her and Peter to purchase a home in Valencia, Spain which, through their hard work and her boundless energy, they transformed together. The consummate hostess, she loved preparing delicious meals in beautiful surroundings for friends and family, showing attention to every detail. Paige had an adventurous, determined, fun-loving, and courageous spirit. If there was something new to try or a challenge to be had she approached it with gusto, grace, practicality and a little bit of sass. In dark and confusing times she was a beacon for how to live, and how to love. Married for 45 years in May, Paige and Peter could rarely be found one without the other. The pair have a love story many can only dream of. While they were at times opposite, Paige has recited that they were âfaithful, loving and true,' three ingredients crucial to a true romance.
She goes lovingly into the company of her predeceased mother, father and sister and it is a great comfort to her family to know she is with those she loves, watching down with a content smile, contagious laugh and, of course, a perfectly put together outfit.
Forever missed, but never gone - she was adored by all. Paige can be found in all the brightest colours, the best full-bodied wine, the most fragrant flowers, the warmest hugs, the bluntest advice, the best deals at your favourite store and the eyes of her loved ones.
