Patricia Baldwin

Died peacefully in Victoria, BC. Patricia is survived by her husband David van Stolk and her children Jennifer Eielson (John) and Andrew Baldwin (Tara Case) and her six grandchildren Oliver, Caroline, John, William, Quinn and Adele. Born in Timmins to Ruth and Edward Wilbee, Patricia grew up in Toronto where she attended Humberside Collegiate, Branksome Hall, and the Ontario College of Art. She married William Baldwin in 1963. While raising Jennifer and Andrew, she earned a degree in Interior Design at Ryerson Polytechnic Institute, but in 1991 Patricia left her design career and relocated to Sechelt where she re-embarked upon her true artistic calling, the creation of beautiful things. She taught art in West Vancouver for many years, and it was here that she met her husband David. The two relocated to Bowen Island in 2012 and then to Victoria in 2014. A public celebration of Patricias life and art will be held at the Ferry Building Gallery in West Vancouver on 29 March 2015 from 2pm.
