Patricia Jeannene Steele

Patricia J. Steele (nee Barker) passed away peacefully on August 29, 2021, after a short stay at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC. She was a Christmas baby, born on December 24, 1948 to Mafalda (nee Rovere) and Gordon Barker in Nanaimo, BC.
Pat (Trish) was predeceased by her loving husband, John Russell (Russ) Steele in 2001. She is survived by her beloved younger brother, Gordon (Candy) Barker and his family on the Lower Mainland, as well as her daughter, Tara (nee Pollock) Hall (Martyn) in Victoria, BC.
Her last day was spent in comfort reminiscing about how much she had loved to cook and all of the travel she was able to enjoy when she worked at Air BC and Air Canada in Vancouver, Prince Rupert and finally in Sidney, BC.
Pat's wish was to be cremated and interned with her parents and grandmother, Hazel Barker, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Burnaby, BC. No service at her request.
