Pearl Clara Clark

Pearl passed peacefully, August 13, surrounded by the love of family.
Pearl is predeceased by Don, her loving husband and lifelong companion of 66 years. Pearl is survived by children Keith, Ken, and Donna; grandchildren Alison (Pal), Sara (Dennis), Olivia (Kris), and Vanessa; great-grandchildren Maddie and Paige; and many nieces and nephews and their families. Pearl was born and grew up in the farming country of Peace River and the values she learned there she kept throughout her life, actively baking, sewing, and putting food by. Later she moved to Prince Rupert where she met and married Don and then to Victoria with their young family. Pearl's great love in life was for family and friends of which there were a great many. Pearl kept in touch with everyone in both her and Don's large families and kept everyone up-to-date with goings-on. Pearl and Don loved to motorhome in BC and the states, visiting as they went. Pearl was a talented baker, at family dinners two or three desserts were the norm. Pearl was an outgoing soul and was known for her friendly, talkative ways. Pearl was much loved for her boundless energy and zest for life and will be missed by all her knew her. The family is grateful to the staff at Kiwanis Pavillion and Royal Jubilee Hospital for their compassionate care. A private family service will be held at Veterans Cemetary 'God's Acre'.
