Rae Terlson

d. June 3, 2017

Rae passed away suddenly at home on June 3rd. Born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and a resident of Victoria for many years. After enduring 17 months of poor health he is now resting peacefully and not suffering any longer. He is survived by his partner of 47 years, Bev Clarke, who has been beside him every step of the way. He also leaves behind his nieces, Sandy Whittaker and her family, Debbie Devlin (Lloyd Bowcott) and her family; his nephews, Shawn Terlson (Colleen) and their son and Darwin Terlson (Debbie) and his family. He also leaves behind Bev's family; father, Norm Clarke; brother, Bill Clarke (Valerie) and family. Rae was a retired Postal Worker and also a very avid fastball supporter and worked in many ball parks helping on the grounds crew. Rae was the anchor and rock of his family. He was a father figure, a grandfather figure and an endless pool of knowledge. The manner in which he lived his life and conducted himself taught those close to him what a true friend and a caring person was. I would like to thank all our family, friends and neighbours who have been there for us through this 17 month journey. Also a very big thank you to Rae's kidney Doctor - Dr. Kevin Horgan who has been with us every step of the way and who has gone above and beyond - you have been our ROCK. Also, the nurses in PD renal dialysis you have been fantastic and have been our second family for many months. No service as per Rae's request. We would appreciate any donations being made going to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Love You Babe -- Rest in Peace
