Rhylla Giffin

December 5, 1929 — November 12, 2018

Rhylla Giffin was born on Bell Island Newfoundland on December 5 ^th 1929 to the Late Charles and Gwendoline Andrews. She was the youngest of 11 Children. She died peacefully on November 12, 2018 at The Heights at Mt. View Care in Victoria B.C. A loving wife to David of 65 years, mother to Deborah and Brent, grandmother to 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. A homemaker, Rhylla was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. She was gifted with beauty, a great sense of humor and a welcoming smile. Rhylla traveled with her husband David and family early in their life and after David's served as an Officer in the Canadian Army settling in Mississauga Ontario, before moving to BC in 1978. As residence of BC, they settled in Qualicum Beach where she loved the ocean views and wildlife in their yard. Moving to Victoria, to complete her life in recent years we are happy that she lived a long and wonderful life. She will be missed by all of the people she has touched in her life.
