Richard Woodbury 'Dick' Knight

We honour and celebrate the life of a man who LOVED WELL. Richard's relationship with God was foundational in his fierce and courageous 8-week battle against brain cancer. He fought with dignity, humour and a grateful spirit. Richard was born in Beverly, MA, USA to Richard and Joan Knight. From birth, through his years of school, the Navy, traveling with Royal American Shows, working at the University of Calgary and involvement in church ministry; Dick's passion touched the hearts of those he came in contact with. Richard left the legacy of a God-fearing family: wife Jacqueline (nee Chase), Jeremy (Beth Ann nee Mantler), Jeffrey (Christa nee Langley), daughter Christel and 7 grandchildren. The American Knight family and the entire Chase family, who adopted him as their own, will lovingly remember Richard. Service will be held at Victoria First Church of the Nazarene, June 22 at 2PM, 4277 Quadra St, Victoria, BC. Donations will be given to Hope For The Nations.
