Richard Harvey Soles

Rick passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on May 8, 2015. He was born and raised in Victoria BC and made long lasting friendships along the way. Rick took pride in his career as a boat builder. After retiring, he joined the Sooke Community Association where he volunteered his expertise when and where needed and to fill his days, he worked part time at Superstore. Rick enjoyed gardening, wood working, fibre glassing, car repairs (working on his Corvette!!) and watching sports on his big screen TV. Rick is predeceased by his daughter Katherine, his father Kenneth and his mother Edna May (Jones). Left to mourn is his wife and soulmate Christine Loder, his aunt Grace Madill, sisters and brothers in law, cousins and many friends, including his best friend Garth Coward (Joe) and his furry dog friend Misty, who is missing her walks and special play times. A huge THANK YOU to Rick's co-workers at Superstore for your valiant efforts to assist him. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
