Robert (Bob) George Watts
Dec 30, 1952 – Dec 26, 2024
Born and raised in Winnipeg, predeceased by his father, Allan Watts and mother, Antoinette ‘Toni’ (Jankowski) Watts. Bob was founder and owner of Jazz Financial/Jazz Investments Ltd, in which he took pride in helping to make his clients successful and had a genuine interest in each person with whom he connected. He liked to hear their stories—tell a few of his own—but always with an ear to what their ambitions and dreams might be, to see how he could help.
A generous person with a large heart and a big smile, Bob had over 28 years of creating Jazz Vespers and concerts held in Winnipeg and Victoria. He fused his passion for music with his drive to raise funds for charities and, by doing so, was able to perform on drums with many different groups of musicians that he would put together—not only raising money for these charities, but with the music, increasing the amounts raised. He had a love for jazz music, drums, watches, cars and, most importantly, his friends and family. He will be missed by everyone who had contact with him.
Deeply missed by his wife, Bonnie de Moissac, son Spencer Vatrt-Watts, brother Paul Watts (Ericka), sister Nancy Rogerson (Brian), cousin Dorothy Moleski (Terry), step-sons Rick and Dan de Moissac, nephews and nieces, his wonderful staff and treasured clients.
Bob has planned all the details for parties to be held in both Winnipeg and Victoria.
