It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our husband and father, Robert (Bob) Clawson. Bob was born on September 28, 1945, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and passed away at the age of 80 in Victoria, British Columbia, on December 15, 2025, after a brave and lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Bob will be forever loved and deeply missed by his cherished wife, Sandra, with whom he shared 62 wonderful years, and his beloved children, Rob (Carrie) and Andrea. He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor, and Cayden; his brothers, Tim (Karen) and Richard; his sister, Sally (Tom); and his loyal canine companion, Holly. Bob will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, as well as friends and former colleagues whose lives he touched.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Elsie; his sisters, Louise (Jim), Roberta (Frank), Gladys (Jack), and Doris; his sister-in-law, Veronica (Richard); and his faithful canine companion, Missy.

Bob will forever be remembered for his selflessness, his quiet strength, and the unwavering love he had for his family. He had a remarkable ability to fix just about anything and continued to do so even as his health declined—a reflection of his determination and generous spirit.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
