FERGUSON, Robert (Bob) Jan 22/1922 to July 12/2014 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Ferguson. He died peacefully at home with family at his side. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of over 73 years, Theresa (Terry); and his daughters Donna Mae (and husband Mike) and Roberta; son Jim (and wife Donna); grandchildren Theresa, Corrinna, Bill (and Sandie), Bob (and Caroline), Laureena (and Marc), and Deanna (and Jamie); great-grandchildren Trey (and mother Darlene), Braden, Kayla, Peyton, Jayda, and Madeline. He is also survived by his brother Jim (the last of nine siblings) and many nieces and nephews. Bob was an avid fisherman and hunter but his greatest love was his wife Terry and their family. He was a great story-teller and it was a special treat when he played his mouth-organ. Bob fought overseas during World War II and worked in the coal mines, Sidney Roofing, and various Government Liquor Stores. He was a man of principles. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the VIHA Home and Community Care Team and the Beacon Community Help Workers and special gratitude to Michelle and Sandie of the Quick Response Team and Sandra of the Palliative Response Team for their excellent care and compassion. We also wish to thank Marian and Trevor Le Feuvre and their daughters Alicia and Kelsey for being long-time good neighbours and special friends. At Bobs request, no service will be held.
