Robert Leslie Young

Born Vegreville AB, October 21,1933 The day after being at the shop feeding the cats and getting loads ready for the week Bob Young passed away peacefully on February 22 2016 in the arms of his wife Sharon, holding the hands of his sister Lindsay and granddaughter Jennifer, and in the presence of brother in law Brian and grandson in law Kelli.
Bob was, regrettably, predeceased by his loving daughters, Debbie, Esther and son Jimmy. Bob is survived by his wife Sharon. Sister Lindsay (Frank), Son Laurie (Lorraine), Brother in Law Brian (Karen), Son in law Wayne, Grandchildren Jennifer (Kelli), Daniel(Melissa), Nathan, John, Margaret. Great Grandchildren Nolan, Karson, Tyson, Jason, Nevaeh, Aliyah, Zachary and Lucas. Nephews Braydon, Colton, Matt and Niece Samantha; and ex-wife Sylvia (mother of his children). Well known around Victoria, he founded "Young and Son" some 35years ago. He earned the respect of all members of the local trucking community, giving his customary "salute" when passing people he knew! The family would like to thank Dr. Murray Stanwood for the care he has provided to Bob over the years. Bob requested no service, but his family and friends would like to celebrate his life…….
