Sadly, our Ron has slipped away peacefully in his sleep.
A kind, gentle man of so many accomplishments: his strong devotion to family; his love of all things from his home country of New Zealand, particularly his beloved rugby team, the “All Blacks” and his NZ lamb; his fabulous talent in French cooking (Julia Child was his fave); his love of roses; running a successful business for almost 40 years, Kiwi Plumbing, where he was often seen with his mate, “Star” at his side going to all the job sites with him.
Survived by his loving wife, Heather, married for almost 40 years, and his wonderful son Ross. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation”.
An intimate gathering will occur at a later date.
Ross and I would like to thank all the wonderful caring staff at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital.
Your spirit will be with with us forever, my love, especially watching over my shoulder in the kitchen!
