Samuel Gislason

September 10, 1959 – December 17, 2025

Sam died on his own terms on December 17 - 52 days after being given 48 hours to live. Sam never conformed to expectations and was always loyal to his own wisdom. He was a loner with no patience for small talk or insincerity. He was fiercely smart, unwavering in his convictions and an explorer of all areas of study from philosophy to music to psychology. He wished for more time and for a life with less anger.

He is survived by his sisters, Thora and Jo, and his mother Val.
