Sandra Patricia Leeson

Going Home - Sandra Patricia Leeson (nee Soderstrom) lost her battle with Alzheimer's on March 7th 2017 in Victoria BC. Sandra is survived by her four children Patricia, Robert, Chris (Yuki) and Ben as well as her granddaughter Mona. She is predeceased by her parents, siblings and loving husband Rev. Robert W. Leeson. Sandra was born in Camrose, Alberta on April 16th 1947. She attended LCBI in Outlook as a young woman and remembered her time there fondly. She met her future husband while working at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Saskatoon. They were married in 1975. Sandra was an active member in her church Grace Lutheran in Wynyard Sask and at Christ Lutheran Church in Regina where she made her home for 30 yrs. She would often lend her services as an accompanist as she loved music in all its forms. Sandra will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul. Always willing to laugh she never lost that quality even in her final battle with Alzheimer's. Sandra will be greatly missed but is happily released into the loving arms of her husband and the eternal care of her heavenly father.
Services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Regina on Saturday March 25th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association.
