Sarah Jayme Wilkins

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sarah Jayme Wilkins of Victoria, BC (formerly of Winnipeg, MB). Sarah passed away peacefully on July 11, 2019 at the age of 38.
Sarah leaves behind to cherish her memory her father Dave Wilkins, mother Dale Loucks, step father Craig Loucks and brother Shane Wilkins, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends from all over the globe.

Sarah finished high school in Winnipeg and then traveled overseas for 2 1/2 years making lifelong friends everywhere she went. When she returned to Canada she traveled west and eventually ended her journey in Victoria where she worked for a time in the service industry until she had the opportunity to go back to college. Sarah graduated with her Social Services Community Support Worker Diploma with honours and chose to apply this knowledge as a Program Leader at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Victoria.

Sarah was a sweet, loving, kind and generous woman with a heart of gold; a true free spirit with a wonderful sense of humour and lust for life. Friends have described her as a huge presence; the light everyone was drawn to.

Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and social workers at Royal Jubilee who treated Sarah with love and respect and a special thanks to Dr. A. Walzak, Evan, Shelley, and Kirsten.
Rest in peace our sweet angel.
In lieu of flowers Sarah requested donations be sent to the humane society or animal rescue of your choice'
