Sheila Williams

SHEILA WILLIAMS: Loving wife, mother, and Nana; Sheila passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospice on January 4, 2013 in the arms of her family. Born December 29, 1933 in Birkenhead, England Sheila was married for 59 years to her devoted dew drop Robert (Bob) Williams. Mother to Robert, Sylvia (Craig), Jennifer (Ed) and the worlds best Nana to Drayson, Paige, Courtney and William. Survived by her family in England, sister Hazel, brothers, David (Heather), Ronald (Cathy), and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Mum and Dad immigrated to Canada in 1957 where they settled in Chatham, Ontario. In 1975 the family moved to Esquimalt, BC where they lived a happy life. Mum worked for many years at Sears in Victoria. Sheila was a devoted mother and nana to her children and grandchildren. She was a consistent sideline supporter to them in all of their activities. She was also the second mum to many of their friends. Mum and dad shared a passion in their family, pets, sports, and travels to Reno, Las Vegas, Phoenix, England and cruising. Many thanks to their doctor of 30+ years Dr. James Laing and staff at the Esquimalt Treatment Centre, Victoria Cancer Clinic, and Victoria Hospice. Sincere thanks to all of her special friends near and far. There will be no service at the request of Mum. A Celebration of her Life will be announced at a later time.
