Graham, Stephen P. RCN PO1 (retired) April 18, 1951 - December 21, 2015 It is with deepest sadness the family of Stephen Paul Graham announce his passing in Victoria BC. Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late Ronald E. Graham and the late Norma J. Nixon (Graham, Bunker). Stephen graduated from Saint John Vocational School in 1972. He joined the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve in Oct. 1969 and the regular Navy in April 1974, retiring with the rank of Petty Officer First Class in May 1998. In his 28 years with the Navy Stephen served on ten ships starting with HMCS Brunswicker (land based) as a Boatswain. He enjoyed the outdoors and earned his Queen's Scout in 1967. He was an avid hunter both in BC and back home in NB on the Family homestead. His passion was his 1969 Harley Davidson Sportster that he fully restored with the help of his friends and co-workers at Phoenix Cycle. Other interests include; fishing and the smoking of pacific salmon , black powder shooting, music, reading & cooking. Stephen is survived by his Son Leslie (Karen) Graham of Shawnigan Lake, BC; Sisters Debby (Rod) Fisher of Calgary, Alberta, Linda (Jack) Oliver of Saint John, NB; Brother Rodney Graham of Saint John, Stepmother Mary Graham of Saint John, Stepsisters Tina (Paul) O'Neill, of Saint John, and Kelly Anthony of Ottawa, Ont; Grandchildren Eva and Jack of Shawnigan Lake as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Grand Niece and Nephew, and Cousins. Stephen also had many Friends and Acquaintances in both British Columbia and New Brunswick. Arrangements are under the care of Earth's Option Cremation & Burial Services, Devonshire Road, Victoria, BC. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday January 30, 2016 at the Royal Canadian Legion Esquimalt Dockyard Branch 172, Admirals Road, Victoria, BC from 2 to 5pm. Visiting and a social time will take place after the service so Stephen's friends can meet and share their stories with his Family. Interment will take place at a later date in Hoyt, New Brunswick. Donations can be made in remembrance of Stephen to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the Donor's choice
