Susan Lynn Rombout

Susan Lynn Rombout a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away July 4, 2025 in Victoria, British Columbia at 60 years of age. Susan leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion to her family and the nursing profession.

As a retired registered nurse, she dedicated her life to caring for others, providing comfort and healing to countless patients and their families. Her commitment to her profession was a source of inspiration to those who knew her and will continue to live on through the lives she touched.

Susan was a caring mother to Caley Rombout and a cherished sister to Doug Hoelzli. She was predeceased by her parents John and Barb Hoelzli.

Susan found great love and joy in her beloved canine companion Poppy.

In honour of Susan's life, a celebration of life will be held at a future date to commemorate her legacy. In lieu of flowers and in honour of her dedication to the nursing profession, the family kindly requests that any donations be made to the London Health Sciences Foundation (https://lhsf.ca/) or the Victoria Hospitals Foundation (https://www.victoriahf.ca/), organizations that were close to Susan's heart and continue to support the vital work of healthcare professionals.

Susan’s passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
