SUZI KATE CARSON
A heart of gold, one of the best the world could hold.
Forever loved and missed by friends and family.
Susan Lynn Carson grew up in the gardens of Victoria, loved the beach, beauty, art, field hockey, swimming, her many friends, family and above all, her son Jesse. Suzi Kate was a vibrant person and had a rich and full life. She was beautiful and brave and did her best to meet adversity.
She is survived by her son Jesse Mark Carson, father Jack Carson, step-mother Betty, siblings Trudy, Ernest and Hugh, Aunt Judy, cousin Marji, nieces Heather, Julia and Emily and nephews Brett and Evan. Suzi was supported and loved by many dear friends to whom we owe great thanks. The ones I know are Debbie, Maria, Jano, Dawn, Alexis, Ted, Margot, Judy, Michelle, Linda and Ian. I realize there were so many more, as Suzi made friends wherever she went, so please forgive me for any omissions.
Suzi had a passion for art and sharing this through teaching. She taught and nurtured children's and adult's creativity in Burma, Bali, Australia and Nicaragua, Italy and France. In her home town of Victoria she taught in schools and at her ArtKorner studio. She made beautiful paintings that grace galleries and our homes.
A couple of Celebrations of Life will be held later this year. Hint, one will definitely involve art! For notice of these, please send a notice to this website of condolences.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Ovarian Cancer Canada or the Power of Hope, youth arts empowerment by clicking on the left menu under dontations.
