Suzue Watanabe

Suzie passed away peacefully at Luther Court, in her 101st year. She was born in Shimane, Japan and came to Canada in 1934. Suzie and her husband, the late Matsu Watanabe, moved from Kamloops to Victoria in 1980 to be closer to their grandchildren and to enjoy gardening in a milder climate. In 2005, when her health began to decline, Suzie moved into the Luther Court Community of Care. She embraced this transition to a different life>
