Terence Clement

Terence Oliver Clement, of Victoria, BC, died May 31, 2013. He was 69 years old. Terry was born in Bromley, England, on April 2, 1944. After matriculating, Terry attended the University of Surrey, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1966. In 1970, Terry moved to Canada where he met Kathy, to whom he has been married since 1971. Later, in 1977, he graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering. Terry worked as a Professional Engineer for the City of Edmonton until 1980, when he moved to Wetaskiwin, Alberta, to work with Kathys family on their farm. In 2004, Terry and Kathy moved to Victoria, BC, where they have enjoyed their retirement. Terry is survived by his wife, Katharine Clement (nee: Montgomery) of Victoria BC; by his three children, Sarah Clement (husband: Jeff Sylvester) of Edmonton, AB, Tom Clement of Calgary, AB, and Elizabeth Clement of Kingston, ON; by his two grandchildren, Irene and Arthur Sylvester, of Edmonton, AB; and by his brother Peter (wife: Jill) and sister Pauline Clement, both of England. Of the many things that made Terry who he was, he loved solving problems, woodworking, running, fixing computers, and a good glass of wine. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Friends and Family are invited to drop in to the Clement residence, on June 9th between 2 and 4 pm, to celebrate Terrys life.
