As a youth, Terry excelled at the sport he loved the most, Baseball. Terry was also an avid pool player in his early 20's, spending many hours playing in pool tournaments. He also enjoyed watching football and rooting for his team - âThe Bears' and participating in yearly football pools.
In more recent years, Terry enjoyed spending most of his spare time geocaching, hiking and traveling with Nanci.
A special thank you to the nurses and staff of the BC Cancer Agency, Royal Jubilee Hospital, and Victoria Hospice, for the compassion and the care they provided to Terry and family during his short but courageous battle.
Terry touched the lives of all he knew with his positive, caring, and always quick-witted and humorous way. He will be so dearly missed.
Goodbye to my loved ones, I gave it all I had
Remember all the good times and try not to be sad
We all must leave here sometime, not always when we choose
Life is just a game you know, and this time I must lose
But I will always be there, in the gentle ocean breeze
Cursing at the darkness of this horrible disease
Look for me in children's laughter and in the summer rain
I love you all so much there are no words that can explain
Just how sad I am and how much I'm going to miss you
What I wouldn't give for just one more time to kiss you
