Thomas Allan Strachan

Thomas (Tod) Allan Ross Strachan passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026 at the age of 82. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jacquie, his children, Gary, Sarah, Jodi, Michael, and Kristy, and his ten cherished grandchildren. His career followed a fascinating and varied path, reflecting his nature as a true jack of all trades. Along the way, he generously shared his knowledge and curiosity with his children, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. Of all his roles, he most enjoyed his time as a reporter and photographer, where his curiosity, creativity, and eye for detail came to life.

He was deeply committed to his community, giving his time and energy in countless ways. He coached soccer and lacrosse, volunteered with the Lions, and contributed to many other community efforts over the years.

He will be remembered as a lover of music and history, and above all, as a gifted storyteller who brought people and moments vividly to life.
