Tracy Lee Burn

December 31, 1956 — May 17, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tracy Lee Burn, our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt.

Tracy Burn of Langford, British Columbia, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 17th, 2025, at the age of 68. Tracy is survived by her daughter Jamie (David) Fegan; her siblings Dale (Donna) Burn, Linda (Cam) Coldeway, and Brian Burn; her father Douglas Burn; and her nephew Shane Reimer. She was predeceased by her mother Joan Burn.

Tracy was born in Calgary, Alberta on December 31st, 1956, where Tracy spent her childhood with her siblings. In her youth she loved track and field, volleyball, music, and spending time with friends. She spent her early adult years exploring Canada, driving across the country with a spirit of adventure. Moving back to Calgary while she raised her daughter, Tracy spent years as a home maker where they spent summers biking, swimming, and exploring the outdoors, winters baking, doing crafts, and skating, and creating many cherished memories. Tracy spent much of her time with her beloved pets and exploring hobbies including gardening, crafting, and playing guitar. In 2023, Tracy moved to Vancouver Island to reconnect with her extended family where she spent time crabbing with her sister, playing crib, and exploring the beauty of a place that she had always loved.

Tracy will be remembered for her fierce love, her striking independence, her bravery, and her quiet strength. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

The family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate medical and support team at Victoria General Hospital and to the volunteers at Elderdog Canada who provided support for her beloved dog Quinn.
