Trevor Thomas

Trevor passed away in Victoria Hospice after a brief illness on the morning of October 1st. Predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Edna Thomas and younger brother, Gregory, and survived by Nelsy, his wife of 11 years. Trevor was born in Capetown, South Africa on May 20, 1949. At the age of 17, Trevor moved to Toronto with his family and later moved to Vancouver and then Victoria. In 2001, Trevor fell madly in love with his wife while on a holiday in Colombia. They loved to cruise and enjoyed their holidays together. He was a devoted, honest and caring husband with a heart of gold. Trevor was a skilled accountant who worked for several non-profit organizations in the Greater Victoria area and also worked tirelessly for the Stadacona Centre Strata Council as president and treasurer. Trevor will be forever missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, October 5 at 11 a.m. at Royal Oak Burial Park Chapel.
