Coleman, Victoria (Vicki) Louise Theresa Joan

Passed away on July 22nd at the age of 47.She leaves to cherish her memory her

loving family;

2 sisters Caitlin and Bridget and niece Chantel, and Vicki's partner and good friend of many years,

David Little.

Vicki was born in Haslemere, Surrey, England, July 26th, 1975, later residing in the Lower Mainland

and Victoria, B.C.She was a wise, funny, feisty and independent spirit who loved and worked with

rescue cats, designed and made jewelry and was a talented sketch artist. Growing up she loved

exploring Mayne Island with her cousin Ben, chocolate, playing forts with her baby sisters, and

camping, canoeing, horse riding and fishing for rainbow trout at Lightning Lakes in the Cascade

Mountains for many summers-it became her birthday ritual with her mum. I wish we had had time

to go once more-I'm sorry Sweetheart. Your fierce fight and courage humbled me. I love and miss you,

Gratitude to Caitlin and Sheila for keeping final vigil with me and David who heli-jetted in at the 11th

hour like James Bond (Brownie points from Vicki for that one!) and to the staff of Vancouver General

and Royal Jubilee Hospitals including Dr.'s Yvette Drew and Andrew Attwell who got us home, Dr. Ashwell,

Daniel in ICU, and nurses Julieta, Kevin, Bodil and Pam...such tenderness. And to our friends and family on

3 continents who supported Vicki these past months with love and visits, meals, chats, more chocolate,

trees, flowers and prayers-Esther, Pru, Gary, Anne (for your counsel) and family, Frances and family,

Vicky and family, Sheila and Thad and Chris and Marni.

Private scattering of the ashes and celebration of life to be held in Victoria in October,

2023. In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a tree in Vicki's name or donating to the SPCA or the

BC Cancer Foundation.
