Vivian Brown

Brown, Vivian Edith Roberta (nee Lock) It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother and grandmother, Vivian Brown, on Tuesday February 19, 2013. Vivian was born on October 9, 1922 in Vancouver, to Harry and Sally Lock. She leaves behind to mourn her beloved husband of 61 years, Robert Brown, her daughter Valerie Holmes (Robert), her granddaughters Kimberly and Laura Holmes, and many other relatives and friends. Vivian loved books and reading, and was an extraordinary teacher to her many public school students and to her family. She will be sadly missed by all. A celebration of Vivians life will be held at St. Pauls United Church, 2410 Malaview Avenue in Sidney on Thursday February 28th at 2 pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation would be much appreciated by the family.
