Early in the morning of Jan 4th, with his beloved dog Kovee by his side, Waldy passed away peacefully from unexpected heart complications. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Sat May 13th.
Celebration of Life
11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Fercho Family Residence 176 Lohr Rd Victoria, BC V9E 1J7 A Celebration of Life - Open House will be held in Waldy's honor on Saturday, May 13th, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, at 176 Lohr Rd. This event will be an opportunity for all of our family and friends to join together in remembrance of a wonderful man, who was taken from us too soon. My hope is that we can all share our own stories, memories and moments of time spent together over the years. There's nothing Waldy enjoyed more than having company to share a brew with, nibble on some food and laugh over the many crazy, questionable, adventurous and unbelievable things that we've done together over the past decades. We all still grieve and miss him in our own way, but Chelsea and I want this day to be about the positive effect that Waldy had on all our lives. So please come for a visit with open hearts, a smile, and lets share all the happiness, humor and love we feel for him. He may not be here in person anymore, but he is definitely with us in spirit, forever. We will have some wine and beer to offer, and I ask if you could bring a âsmall' appy or munchie to add to the finger food table. We all like to nibble while we drink and talk! Also, could you please leave the parking spots by the house for family, and those with mobility issues. You can park on the side of Lohr Rd, at the bottom of the hill, or at the entrance to our road, by the mailboxes. If there's no room to be found, you can use the empty parking lot at the Prospect Lake Elementary School you passed by to get to our road (it's a short walk). If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me on my cell 250-213-9705, or home phone 250-744-2597. We hope to see many of you trickling in and out, throughout the day. Whatever time you can spare would be great, it's been too long and we'd love to catch up.
