William George Burrows

It is with great sadness and many tears, William George Burrows (Bill) passed away at Royal Jubilee Hospital Thursday July 28, 2016 at the age of 85. Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years Anna, son Mark Robb (Lisa), Kurt Robb (Mara) and four grandchildren, Becky, Nathan, Kristina and Keith all of Victoria. Also survived by sister Diane Burgess (Walt), Steven Trottier (Marg) and brother Bob Burrows of Alberta as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Bill was an avid golfer and was a member at Gorge Vale Golf Course for 50 years, retiring from work at the age of 45. As he put it, "work is interfering with my golf". By request there will be no service. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
