It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sweet William. Left to mourn are Bill's wife Judy, his sisters Jo-Ann (Steve), Janice (Brian) and Judy, his children Caleb (Michelle) and Sasha and stepdaughters Zoe and Jill. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law Irene Ash and brother-in-law Donnie, nieces and nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Thelma and brother-in-law Bruce. Bill was a wonderful, loving and kind man who never complained, always had a smile on his face and who had a great sense of humour. Bill loved tennis, the water, flying and Jesus! Sadly, Bill was diagnosed with ALS, which he faced so bravely and courageously.
Special thanks to Dr. Estey, Dr. Lundy, Dr. Krieger and the ALS Team, Dr. Atwell-Pope, Tessa, Deanna, the nurses on 6CN at VGH, the Home Care Nurses and the Beacon Caregivers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Glad Tidings Church on January 6th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society would be much appreciated.
