William (Bill) Clayton Isherwood

July 18th, 1951 - August 28th, 2025

It is with heavy hearts our family announces the unexpected but peaceful passing of Bill Isherwood on Thursday, August 28th, 2025.

Bill was a beloved brother, steadfast uncle, loyal steward of the earth, and cherished friend.

Bill was truly unforgettable - a kind, gentle, and private soul who loved his family and had an extremely kind heart and gentle way of walking, the planet. He cared for the earth with all of his heart.

We would like to thank each and everyone of you - Shawnigan Lake neighbours, community, friends and cherished relations for your kindness and beautiful ways of including and respecting Bill’s unique way of living his life. We would also like to thank the compassionate, kind, caring and present team at the ICU, Cowichan Regional Hospital - what an exceptional group of skilled clinicians and extraordinary human beings.

An informal Celebration of Life will be held for family, friends, and community at the Lakehouse Restaurant on Shawnigan Lake on Friday, September 19th, 2:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., as we gather to honour the remarkable man and steward of the earth that Bill was.

Bill is and will be missed.
