William Richard 'Ricky' Muise

William Richard "Ricky" Muise, 61, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Victoria, BC on Friday, August 21, 2020. He was a son of William "Bill" Muise and Jeannine Christin.
Born in Ottawa, he travelled with his parents to Marville, France where his father was stationed, returning to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada at the age of 4 when his parents separated and divorced. His father then moved the family to Greenwood, Nova Scotia, where Ricky spent the majority of his youth before venturing out west. An abuse survivor, Ricky struggled with mental illness and addictions most of his life. At the time of his death, he was clean and sober. May he rest in peace. Ricky was predeceased by his parents, his step-mother, Margaret (Thibeau) Muise and two brothers, Trevor Muise (aged 24) and Billy Muise (aged 4). He is survived by his siblings: Peter (Sharon) Muise, Barrie, ON, and Dan (Pam) Muise, Greenwood, NS, Mary Thibeau, Kingston, NS and Dawn Muise-Crocker, New Minas, NS. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a private internment of his ashes will be made in the New Tremont Cemetery, Tremont, Kings County, Nova Scotia.
